ABOUT

Angelique Clark is a Production Designer working between Los Angeles and New York.

She designs for film, television, and commercials, creating bold, textured, and fully lived-in visual worlds. Her aesthetic leans surreal, often unexpected, sometimes offbeat, but always grounded in story. Every detail is intentional; if it appears on screen, it’s there for a reason.

Angelique began her creative journey as a painter, developing a foundation in light, color, and composition. She later expanded into motion graphics and editing, where she deepened her understanding of movement and visual rhythm. Production design became the medium that brought all of these elements together, a place where she shapes mood and space in service of narrative.

Her mixed-race, half-Asian background has shaped a perspective grounded in contrast, subtlety, and unspoken dynamics. It also gives her an ease in connecting with people from a wide range of backgrounds, which informs both her creative choices and her collaborative process. That lens shows up in her work through layered compositions, nuanced pairings, and a sensitivity to emotional space.

With a degree in Art Practice (with high honors) and Film from UC Berkeley, Angelique is also a member of the Art Directors Guild and United Scenic Artists, USA 829, and is currently represented by Zero Gravity Management.
Outside of work, you’ll likely find her wandering a health food store in search of the next fun snack/obscure supplement/questionable biohack, or on a tennis court, enthusiastically swinging her racket (occasionally in the direction of the ball).
